Responsible for welcoming and routing patients and visitors in person and by telephone in a busy behavioral health agency.
Demonstrate professional work demeanor, excellent customer service, and outstanding communication skills.
Respectfully relate to individuals regardless of age, level of functioning or presentation.
Respond quickly in a changing, multi-task environment with accuracy in documentation information, collecting fees for services rendered, scheduling appointments, answer phones, and coordinating with agency staff.
Respond to voice mails and fax requests.
Perform intakes for new or returning patients.
Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Two (2) years of clerical experience preferred.
Ability to sit for long periods of time.
Ability to pass a level II Background clearance and drug test.
Must maintain high standards of ethical and professional conduct, while adhering to agency policies and procedures.
Knowledge of office equipment.
Attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, in collaboration with other community partners.
Ability to manage stressful situations and display appropriate work demeanor and boundaries.
Ability to demonstrate excellent customer service.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
