SUMMARY

Identifies, monitors, and documents risk related activities. Identifies trends for risk mitigation efforts including making recommendations when appropriate to best achieve desired results. Advises leadership and management on risk related matters by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES are listed below in order of importance, from most important to least important.

Works in conjunction with Corporate Risk Team to analyze and assess the organization’s Enterprise Risk Profile, taking proactive measures to alleviate and implement preventative measures.

Works with various business units to ensure proper insurance coverage limits are in place and revisions are made when required.

Works in conjunction with the broker and insurance company to complete changes to property and/or equipment affecting insurance coverage, including reviewing leases, or other legal documents as necessary.

Facilitates the process for all Certificate of Insurance (COI) requests from various business units as needed. Responsible for tracking COI compliance. Works with vendors and insurance companies/brokers as ecessary to accomplish compliance.

Investigates incident reports, takes statements, and provides case management of all GL claims. Acts as liaison with GL carrier to provide any pertinent information to close cases expeditiously.

Analyzes internal investigations and reporting of claims exposure and recommends process improvement practices to improve overall safety conditions.

Compiles data proactively to conduct General Liability Risk Trend Analysis.

Oversees the GISP Accessibility Plan, including annual reporting. Monitors compliance with accessibility requirements; identifies issues and resolutions.

Conducts ADA Checklist Inspections, at each of the organization’s physical sites, as needed. Prepares reports of ADA inspections on findings and recommendations.

Maintains electronic databases to include Risk Management monitoring systems and ADA Checklist Inspection systems.

Updates departmental manuals, forms, and procedures to include Standard Operating Procedures.

Supports coordination of ongoing CARF activities including 3-year on-site survey.

Requirements

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school and three years' experience providing support primarily to administering commercial property and liability insurance packages; or the equivalent combination of education and experience.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Valid Driver's License (Class C), car insurance and reliable automobile required.
