live within a 30 minute drive of Louisville, Kentucky in order to service clients on-site as necessary (~10%)
have the capability to work from your quiet home office with high-speed low-latency Internet access
have at least 5 years of network administration and/or engineering IT experience
have experience configuring and deploying firewalls, routers, switches, wireless access points, and server infrastructure. Should be very familiar with IP Subnetting, DHCP, etc. (ideally in a Cisco Meraki environment.)
have experiencing racking equipment, terminating network cabling, toning / tracing, and with wire management.
have a solid understanding of TCP/IP addressing, subnetting, routing, etc.
able to multitask between service tickets and projects while keeping both on schedule and status updated
provide exceptional, high-quality, professional, detail-oriented service to both entry level and executive users
provide outstanding customer service skills when responding to customer problems received via our ticketing system, phone and email.
able to provide occasional after-hours response to emergency situations.
coordinate outage window with clients for monthly after-hours server maintenance.
able to travel to client sites out of state on rare occasions.
