Job Description

As a Network Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining, securing, and optimizing the network infrastructure. You will work with a team of IT professionals to troubleshoot network issues, enhance network performance, and support the overall IT environment for the company. This role is ideal for someone with a strong technical background in networking and a passion for ensuring seamless connectivity.

Responsibilities

Configure, install, and maintain network hardware such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
Monitor and optimize network performance, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal security.
Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity and configuration issues.
Implement and manage firewalls, VPNs, and network security protocols.
Collaborate with the IT team to design and implement new network solutions.
Maintain documentation on network configurations and provide support to end-users.
Perform routine network maintenance tasks such as backups and updates.
Ensure compliance with security protocols and network best practices.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field.
3+ years of experience as a Network Administrator.
Strong understanding of networking protocols, security practices, and hardware.
Experience with network hardware such as firewalls, routers, switches, and VPNs.
Certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or CompTIA Network+ are preferred.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
