Fresno County, located in the Central Valley of California, is a rapidly growing community with a current population over 990,000. It is currently the largest growing county in California. The County of Fresno employs over 8,000 employees and has a budget of $3.6 billion.
Fresno County has 15 incorporated cities and 132 special districts of which 88 have independent boards of directors. The two largest cities are Fresno and Clovis with a combined population of 628,000. Fresno is currently the fifth most populous city in California.
