Our client is a global investment firm with over $135 billion in AUM using strategies for its clients through syndicated leveraged loans, high yield bonds, asset-based leasing, and private equity. The Vice President will support the accounting for the BDC department at the firm.
Responsibilities
- Maintain shadow books and records and perform reconciliations to sub-administrator’s reporting package
- Assist with the preparation of monthly and quarterly reporting deliverables
- Prepare and review the management fee and incentive fee calculation
- Prepare 10-Q and 10-K SEC filings
- Work directly with the third-party sub-administrator to coordinate work and review all accounting deliverables
- Liaise with administrator, custodian, transfer agent, and other outside vendors
- Review of fund expenses for accuracy and coordination of accruals and payments
- Provide support and assistance to external auditors in their quarterly review and annual audit procedures
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- 7-10 years if experience in public and private BDC accounting
- CPA preferred
- Strong Excel skills required with knowledge of VBA a plus
- Experience working with large sets of data
Salary Range
$130,000-$145,000
