Our client seeks an experienced and dedicated Systems Administrator to join their team. This position is remote, with an optional local Portland/Beaverton office, should you want the space. Local candidates are strongly preferred to handle any on-site server maintenance as needed. The ideal candidate will have a solid technical background and be able to take ownership of our company's (and our client’s) technical infrastructure, ensuring smooth operation and ongoing maintenance. This role is empowered to create and automate a secure and well-documented environment so that the rest of the company can act quickly and efficiently.
Compensation: $55-$75K/yr DOE
Availability: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Install and maintain Windows Server 2019 and 2022
- Install and maintain SAP Business One and its paired technologies
- Install and maintain SQL2019
- Install and maintain NGINX
- Work with a wide array of lightly used technologies to ensure the best IT and SA practices and creatively problem-solve
- Support the development team directly with their systems and IT-related needs
Qualifications:
- Strong experience in Windows Server management
- Experience with ERP software such as SAP Business One
- Experience with Windows Group Policy enforcement
- Cloud computing experience, specifically with AWS
- Knowledge of SQL2019 maintenance task management
- Basic knowledge of Linux (for NGINX servers)
- Experience with Git
- Creative problem solver with a proactive approach
- Mind for security and sensitivity to client data
- Sense of urgency for time-sensitive requests
- Forward-thinker with the ability to consider future needs and solutions
- A degree or relevant certifications
