Summary
The IT Manager will bring innovative and efficient technical capabilities, understanding the organization's needs and implementing technologies to drive successful instruction and operations. This individual will help the team provide help desk support and efficient systems operation to ensure a secure computing environment. Success in this role means students face no technical barriers, teachers have the tools they need, information is accurate and secure, and the school's technology systems operate effectively and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and optimize our Cloud-based infrastructure, focusing on Microsoft Azure and Office 365 environments.
- Manage and secure our network infrastructure including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.
- Lead a small IT team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and proactive problem-solving.
- Implement and maintain security measures across our Cloud and network infrastructure.
- Collaborate with educational departments to align IT initiatives with academic and administrative objectives.
- Ensure efficient Help Desk operations and timely resolution of technical issues.
Requirements - Understanding of Cloud-based infrastructure, particularly Azure and Office 365.
- Fundamental knowledge of network security principles.
- Strong problem-solving skills and an ability to learn quickly.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
