The Focus Is You
We are looking to hire a Senior Manager to join our growing team. This Senior Manager position requires someone who is a self-starter and high achiever, looking for growth opportunities. This role will focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence projects with client companies. In this role, the Senior Manager will drive continuous improvement initiatives, lead and facilitate Kaizen events, and act as a change agent driving opportunities, benefits and change throughout organizational functions.
How You Can Impact Our Firm
Regular duties include (but are not limited to):
- Work with stakeholders to guide the design, build, test and deployment of cross-functional solutions to address a wide variety of business problems
- Take large, complex problems and break them down into manageable pieces, then ensure timely delivery of solutions
- Identify technical and resource options to successfully deliver and drive adoption of solutions
- Assess costs, benefits, and ROI, identify and mitigate risks, and manage escalations
- Support the development of well trained and mentored team members
- Promote highly satisfied and referable customers
- Lead and participate on projects, manage and develop junior associates and serve as the project leader and subject matter expert
- Enable transparency and decision making by providing communication and clear status of the projects you own
- Bring your expertise, problem solving skills, and creativity to add value to the UHY team
- Drive client projects successfully delivering engagements and projects within scope, on time, and on budget
- Lead client discovery sessions, facilitate client workshops and status meetings
- Lead assigned engagement resources and effectively keep project moving toward successful completion in face of aggressive schedules and unknown developments
- Document business processes and process gaps
- Execute and oversee project tasks, risk management and communication strategies
- Prepare presentations and other project or firm documents
- Ensure project billings are accurate and processed timely
- Work across the UHY organization to ensure we continue marrying internal support capabilities with best-in-class customer experience as new projects are launched
- Manage projects to continuously improve our organizational efficiency as UHY continues to grow
Experience
IMPORTANT EXPERIENCE FOR THE POSITION
- No less than 8 years business experience leading complex business / operational projects and project teams
- 5+ years of experience in process engineering/continuous improvement
- Project management experience
- Professional services/consulting role
- Experience with data modelling and analysis
- Executive communication skills – able to persuasively articulate ideas, opinions and arguments; able to verbally communicate professionally across all organizational levels from staff to executives
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related field; MBA preferred
License / Certification
- Lean Six Sigma training, certification, practical application preferred
- PMP or comparable certification desired
