Job Description
Dobbs Defense Solutions is seeking an experienced Information Security Manager to join our dynamic team. As the Information Security Manager, you will play a critical role in safeguarding our organization's sensitive data, ensuring the integrity of our systems, and protecting against cyber threats. You will lead a team of cybersecurity professionals, establish and maintain security policies and procedures, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security measures that align with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
Duties
- Develop and implement an information security strategy aligned with business goals and industry standards. Create a comprehensive security roadmap, including risk assessments and mitigation plans.
- Manage and mentor a team of cybersecurity professionals, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth. Assign responsibilities, set objectives, and ensure the team's performance meets expectations.
- Establish, review, and maintain information security policies, standards, and procedures. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR).
- Identify, assess, and prioritize security risks and vulnerabilities. Implement risk mitigation strategies and monitor their effectiveness.
- Develop and maintain an incident response plan. Lead incident response efforts during security breaches, ensuring timely resolution and reporting.
Qualifications
Required education and experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or equivalent certifications are highly desirable.
- Proven experience in information security management, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- In-depth knowledge of security frameworks, standards, and best practices (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, CIS).
- Strong understanding of relevant laws and regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS).
