This is a Senior Level Network Engineer supporting Atlantic Health's large network.

Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
Minimum 7 years of experience in IT or related fields
3 or more years of hands on experience designing, implementing, and operating complex enterprise networks
Intermediate knowledge and emphasis on network automation via Python, APIs, or well-established 3rd party frameworks
Intermediate multi-vendor routing and switching knowledge (Cisco, Arista, and Juniper)
Intermediate knowledge in routing, multicast, and overlay protocols (BGP, EIGRP, PIM, VXLAN)
Intermediate knowledge in switching protocols (RPVST, MST, VLANs,
Intermediate knowledge in network security technologies (Firewalls, VPNs, 802.1X)
Intermediate knowledge in Quality of Service (Cisco [wired and wireless], Arista, Juniper)
Intermediate problem analysis, troubleshooting, and solving skills
Excellent communication skills
Knowledge of wireless technologies and practices
Knowledge of voice technologies and practices
Knowledge of DNS, DHCP, and IPAM
Knowledge of SD-WAN
Knowledge of public cloud network design and implementation
Knowledge of performance management
Preferred:
Arista (AHS Routing/Switching/Data Center standard)
ACE:L2 which is an Arista certification commensurate with the skills required for the LIII Network role.
Palo Alto (AHS Firewall Standard)
PCNSE – Enterprise level

PCNSA – Associate level certification
