### Active Directory Administration Role Overview
Experience Required
- A minimum of 3-5 years in Active Directory Architecture and Administration, covering key areas such as Schema, Replication, DNS, Permissions flow, Trust Management, Group Policy Management, Backup/Recovery, and Security.
- General Windows Server Administration experience spanning 3-5 years.
- At least 2 years of experience administering Azure Active Directory.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in PowerShell or similar scripting languages, including Python or C#.
- Experience with LDAP Administration, including tools like ODSEE, OpenLDAP, or OpenDJ.
- Knowledge of Azure Active Directory Connect and management of Microsoft 365.
- Familiarity with Privileged Access Management and Identity & Access Management practices.
- Some experience with Okta and SQL, with the ability to write basic queries.
- Basic understanding of the Linux Operating System.
- Working knowledge of Firewalls and the capability to troubleshoot network issues.
- Understanding of certificate management with both 3rd party and Microsoft Certificate Authorities (CA).
- Experience mentoring junior team members is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead discussions and implementation efforts related to the architecture of directory services.
- Provide tier-two support for Identity and Access Management (IAM) services, alongside tier-one support for directory issues.
- Develop documentation, including knowledge base articles for IAM services.
- Create short instructional videos to enhance understanding of IAM services.
- Train and mentor new student Support Analysts.
- Ensure ongoing projects, such as the Directory Reviewer Refresh, remain organized and up to date.
