What You’ll do as a Information Technology Manager 1
- Provide management, direction, and oversight for the technical staff providing data protection/security and vulnerability management for application and infrastructure systems in the Tax environment containing confidential personal information, federal tax information and other sensitive data.
- Ensure agency, state and federal requirements, policies, procedures and standards are taken into consideration during all phases of system lifecycle, including acquisition, maintenance, upgrade and disposal.
- Oversee the team that provisions access and controls system security for Tax operation systems, tools, appliance and devices, and will interact with the Ohio Office of Information Security and Privacy and agency assigned AISO as necessary.
- Work with senior management and other management staff in ISO, as well as business areas to provide expert advice and guidance, including as needed to resolve difficult or technical issues.
