ABOUT THIS POSITION:
Our new Digital & Growth Marketing Vice President oversees the strategy, execution, and measurement of growth initiatives across our D2C organizations. The Digital & Growth Marketing Vice President is responsible for creating and executing marketing campaigns across all channels, setting revenue and spend targets and analyzing data to figure out what changes need to be made to attain our targets.
The Digital & Growth Marketing Vice President will be responsible for leading a team of 8+ employees, including performance and paid media experts, retention marketers as well as our D2C ecommerce teams. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on a high-growth company in a fast-moving dynamic marketplace. The Vice President should be able to mentor and motivate the paid media, CRM and ecommerce teams to solve complex problems and bring to life innovative growth initiatives through quick experimentation leveraging new technologies, practices and tools.
Reporting into the Chief Marketing Officer, you will have the opportunity to significantly impact the DIFF business and communicate with all levels of the organization. The ideal candidate must be a team player who is nimble, expertly organized with demonstrated expertise in scaling D2C businesses.
OTHER STUFF YOU’LL GET TO DO:
- Design and lead implementation of growth strategy by using paid and owned media channels to grow new user acquisition, activation, engagement, and retention in a scalable and efficient way
- Partner closely and maintain strong partnerships with key stakeholders across the organization including Product, Web Development, Creative and Brand Marketing teams to build campaigns and solutions that drive business growth
- Lead rapid experimentation of new channels, campaigns, creative, incentives, and approaches for the purpose of building scalable solutions
- Lead media efforts across both top of funnel awareness and performance campaigns and identify efficiencies between the two
- Partner deeply with the brand and creative teams to develop optimized operating models and tools for creative development and quick iterations based on results
- Recruit and lead a team of skilled performance marketers to drive marketing strategy, campaign ideation, execution, and analysis, continually raising the bar on technical and analytical skills
- Report key findings to the executive team on a recurring basis
- Be an industry thought leader and take part in shaping the future of performance marketing roles
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 10+ years of Performance Marketing and/or Acquisition Marketing, primarily B2C, including managing a large budget
- Successfully builds and executes growth strategies for both hyper-growth and scaled companies – D2C consumer company experience is preferred
- Shapes planning and execution of multiple, complex marketing programs, experimentation, CMAM and ROAS monitoring with a day-trading mindset
- Strong marketing instincts and proven track record of shaping and executing on user growth strategies
- Deep analytics background and a high degree of proficiency with rigorous data tools
- Ability to synthesize, analyze and interpret data (including KPI reports) and transfer into actionable steps
- Experience in top of funnel media having the experience to lead large brand awareness media buys also highly preferred
- Manages direct growth, retention and ecommerce teams as well as cross-functional teams and proven track record of performance optimization
- Strong leadership presence; influential with a diverse group of stakeholders and can create buy-in with both product and operational teams
- Deep understanding of Marketing Technology and media platforms (e.g. Meta, Google, etc.)
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment that is both high-growth and startup in nature
