The Role
We are seeking a highly intrinsically motivated, smart and hungry marketing leader to join our team. As the VP of Marketing, you will be responsible for creating and executing our global and local marketing plans including our Brand Marketing, Field Marketing and Demand Marketing motions.
Responsibilities
Brand Marketing: We seek to build a recognizable, indelible global brand that resonates with consumers. You will work closely with company leadership and founders to develop the brand voice and be a proper steward of the brand promise to all constituents internally and externally
Field Marketing: We seek to build a global marketplace, thus, you will work to develop a field marketing strategy to support our sellers, affiliates and partners on a local level at global scale. This includes digital and physical world solutions and strategies.
Demand Marketing: Our head of marketing will be responsible for growing and delivering demand to the PassPass Marketplace on the consumer, affiliate and business sides
Internal Marketing: You will be responsible for creating internal marketing communications to engage our employees and contribute to our culture which is mostly remote

- Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with the company's ambitious growth objectives, leveraging market research, competitive analysis, and consumer insights.
- Craft compelling value propositions and messaging frameworks that resonate with our target audiences, positioning our marketplace as the go-to destination for consumer discounts.
- Brand Building and Positioning:
- Establish and elevate our brand identity, ensuring consistency across all marketing channels and touchpoints.
- Drive initiatives that increase brand awareness, affinity, and reputation in the marketplace, positioning us as leaders in the consumer discounts space.
- Growth and User Acquisition:
- Design and implement scalable growth marketing strategies focused on user acquisition, conversion optimization, and customer retention.
- Leverage a mix of channels, including digital marketing, content marketing, social media, and performance marketing, to drive traffic, engagement, and conversions.
- Data-Driven Marketing:
- Utilize data analytics and metrics to guide marketing decisions, continually optimizing campaigns for maximum effectiveness and ROI.
- Establish KPIs and benchmarks to measure and report on the performance of marketing initiatives, adjusting strategies as needed to meet business goals.
- Partnership and Business Development:
- Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships that enhance the marketplace's value proposition and expand our reach.
- Work closely with sales and business development teams to align marketing efforts with partnership opportunities and revenue goals.
- Team Leadership and Development:
- Build and lead a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Provide mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities to team members, ensuring they have the skills and resources needed to succeed.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with product, sales, and customer service teams to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to market entry and expansion.
- Contribute to product development and innovation by bringing consumer insights and marketing expertise to the table.
- Market Intelligence:
- Keep a pulse on industry trends, consumer behavior, and competitive landscape to inform strategic decisions and identify new opportunities for growth.
- Utilize insights to anticipate market shifts and position the company advantageously.
Qualifications:
- We are looking for someone that is Hungry, Humble and Smart
- You must be willing to work more than 40 hours per week, we can’t win with a standard 9-5 mindset
- We want to find someone who has specific experience building a marketplace in the early to mid stages of growth
- We like growth hackers that can be visionary, but can also get into the weeds as an integrator and get the job done
