The ideal candidate is a highly analytical leader who will join our senior management team. You will be responsible for leading the company's day-to-day business operations (managing the company budget, ensuring operational compliance is followed, and addressing administrative issues).
Responsibilities
- The position is responsible for the development and successful execution of AGNA’s logistics, including inventory, shipping, warehouse as well as customer service, customer support, field service and overall operations for our North America business unit.
- Responsible for developing, implementing, and sustaining the use of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Job Instructions (JI), Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and other tools to ensure the entire team is trained and expectations are clear.
- Manage US service team member knowledge and skill development.
- Manage US distributor partner helpdesk and field service execution and training.
- Responsible for local professionalization of field and in-house repair, maintenance, and replacement service processes
- Responsible for bringing visibility to the US performance of field and inhouse service by tracking and adhering to best practice KPIs
- Plans, Implements, directs, evaluates, monitors, and forecasts budgets and costs to achieve financial objectives.
- Communicates and explains new directives, policies, procedures to managers; for major changes, meets with entire operations staff to explain changes, answers questions and maintain morale.
- Provides oversite for safety, quality, efficiency expectations and ensures leadership is soliciting team member feedback enabling an empowered, continuous improvement culture for all aspects of the facility.
- Monitor inventory control initiatives on a daily, weekly, and period end cycle.
- Execution of data collection, Key Process Indicators (KPI) reporting and weekly Scorecard participation.
- Sets a high standard for personal and leadership professionalism.
- Works closely with departmental heads to develop tactical plans for the delivery of professional services.
- Ensure availability of work tools, machine, and other necessary equipment/parts required for the performance of job duties.
- Conduct periodic inspections to ensure the efficient performance of work equipment and systems.
- Prepare cost estimates required for operations, labor, and materials.
- Monitor and review employee work performance to identify areas of opportunity to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Mentor and create an environment where we will get maximum employee engagement and satisfaction.
- Ensure all departments the director is responsible for deliver timely and high-quality services to customers.
- Present reports of work operations to management in order to provide information useful in taking key business decisions.
- Ensure technical operators comply with set health/safety policies and procedures.
- Enables communication flow to ensure AGNA Senior Leaders are updated on pain-points/success stories regarding KPI's, staffing, performance, maintenance concerns.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business management or related discipline 5 -10 years of relevant experience
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Knowledge of Six Sigma, Lean and other process improvement tools is preferred.
- Significant experience and expertise on Logistics, Business Operations and Customer Service
- Experience building and leading a team. Strong leadership skills is a must.
- Ability to create a healthy, high-performance culture that allows an associate to maximize their job satisfaction and overall engagement.
- Superior verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Power BI experience preferred
- Medical technology (device) industry experience or similar
- Process oriented thinker and pragmatic implementor
- Hands-on mentality and great organizational skills
