The ideal Marketing Manager candidate will be responsible for creating and executing our marketing strategy. You will lead our marketing campaigns, evaluate our marketing performance metrics, and collaborate with internal teams. You will have a strong marketing background with excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
Directs, coordinates, and oversees marketing functions for company brand and product. Responsibilities include oversight of all brand strategy and messaging initiatives, the development and ongoing maintenance of the company website, the management of public relations and thought leadership efforts, and the building and ongoing use of a comprehensive prospect database for lead generating direct marketing initiatives.
Leadership and Strategic Involvement
- Supervise the work of the Marketing Department and conduct performance appraisals.
- Serve as a mentor and coach and ensure that all work efforts are being directed to achieve the organization’s strategic goals.
- Drive creation, implementation and project management of all annual marketing strategies for both franchised and corporate stores to best utilize products, consumer promotions, offers, media and communication strategies and tactics.
· Monitor, manage, and adjusting effectiveness of marketing and ROI standards
· Lead and/or assist with consumer research to measure results
· Responsible for managing company owned and franchise marketing budgets.
Branding & Marketing
- Develop and implement overall organization strategic integrated marketing plan, including the creating of marketing plans and timelines.
- Review and conduct data research, monitor industry trends and recommend new communications strategies.
- Works with departments and managers to develop marketing and communications plans to achieve and/or exceed objectives.
- Create organizational messages that are targeted to appropriate audiences.
- Identify organizational marketing needs and allocate appropriate resources for programs.
- Enable organization to communicate effectively with internal and external audiences.
- Manage the development and maintenance of logos, trademarks, service marks, etc.
· Develop new packaging, labeling, product launches and product promotions.
· Spearhead consumer advertising efforts.
Publishing
- Ensure brand consistency with design, functionality and messaging of all published collateral.
- Write and edit a variety of publication materials including proposals, presentations, sales materials, case studies, blogs, and internal team communications
Interactive and Digital Marketing
- Responsible for organization online presence and website.
- Act as editor for all e-newsletters and digital communications and oversee distribution.
- Oversee social media strategy and implementation
Public Relations
- Direct promotion, publicity and public relations activities; build relationships with key media representatives and serve as spokesperson when appropriate.
- Increase external organizational visibility by enhancing current strategies, working with partners to identify newsworthy content and seeking out new opportunities.
- Protect organizational image by enabling crisis communications plan as situations are predicted or identified.
· Direct cross-functional teams while building solid relations with employees and customers.
Administration and Additional Duties and Responsibilities
- Monitor spending.
- Develop related policies and procedures
- Creation of scripts for major events
- Work in matrixed environment; eliminate duplicate work efforts and recommend operational efficiencies to streamline workflow to ensure deadlines and revenue and expense projections are met.
- Oversee the selection of and manage relationships and contracts with outside vendors.
Requirements:
7 years relevant experience in planning, development, execution and measurement of retail marketing plans within restaurant, food service and/or a premium retailer.
- BS/BA in Marketing – MBA highly desirable.
- Demonstrated experience in the development, execution and measurement of marketing programs that built sales
- Strong background in utilizing Social Media and Internet Advertising
- Proven project management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects from creation to execution
- Excellent verbal, written, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to present information concisely and effectively, both verbally and in writing
- A self-starter who is hands-on with their team.
