The Business development executive will work with clients and prospects to gain a clear understanding of their business needs and develop a comprehensive solution in the areas of Managed IT, cloud services, security, network infrastructure, IT strategy and consulting, and cybersecurity services. In addition, we use our expertise to improve wireless capabilities, project consulting, network designs, office data, and more.
We’re looking for a high energy seasoned Sales Executive to take over an existing book of business to pinpoint their evolving needs and propose tailored solutions that amplify the value they derive from our solutions. Our Sales Team is the engine of our business, the driver for growth, and the role of the Sales Executive is key to our continued success.

Here are a few of the core aspects of the role. You will need to demonstrate suitable experience in the following:
- Managing and growing an existing book of business to identify strategic opportunities to enhance clients' experiences.
- Hunting and developing new leads, identifying prospects, building relationships, and understanding their drivers for doing business with us
- Requirement-gathering and turning that data in to a compelling story that demonstrates our expertise.
- Negotiating - you are comfortable talking price and relating perceived ‘cost’ to our value proposition and closing with minimum ‘friction’
- Excellent time management, able to prioritize key tasks, and manage multiple conversations whilst never letting an opportunity slip
- Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customer
- Provide ongoing information to management on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for additional service opportunities
- Develop deep understanding of RDI Intuitive Technical service offerings and value propositions; leverage data and analytics to make business decisions
- Remain agile in the ever-changing IT industry and stay up-to-date on IT industry trends
Requirements
We’re looking for great characters with the right attitude and aptitude. Here are a few of the things we look for…
- Minimum 3+ years of direct sales experience in Project Services, Managed Services, Virtual Office Systems, Cybersecurity, and infrastructure/IT services and solutions; experience with sales to mid-sized businesses preferred
- Consistent record of hitting targets and generating new sales revenue
- Strong team player who will work closely with your colleagues and key stakeholders
- Confidence in a target-driven environment, tenacious with the motivation to exceed expectations
- ABC – Always Be Curious – you are always asking the right questions of prospects, colleagues and yourself
- Friendly, enthusiastic, confident and comfortable with talking to stakeholders of all levels on the phone, email or face-to-face
