Who We Are: The
Department of Technology, Management and Budget (DTMB) supports the business operations of state agencies through a variety of services including Information Technology project delivery, maintenance and support. This position is with the Agency Services area of DTMB supporting the Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs (LARA).

About The Position: This position serves as the first line manager of IT resources for both Salesforce and Microsoft D365 maintenance and project efforts, to ensure that the objectives and goals of the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs are accomplished. This first level IT Resource Manager leads the development team that is responsible for system development, programming, trouble shooting and system management of the IT Salesforce and Dynamics systems that support the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs (LARA). The team consists of application developers, analysts, and contractors responsible for application development for LARA. The team is primarily responsible for the development, testing, implementing, and maintaining these systems. This position serves as the liaison between DTMB and LARA and is responsible for meeting customer needs and expectations.
Position Location/Remote Office: The office location is Lansing, MI. The State of Michigan is not able to offer employment to out of-state applicants that do not plan to relocate. The Department of Technology Management and Budget currently offers a hybrid work option which requires two days working on-site at the official work location and three days of remote work per week.

SIGNING BONUS: This position may be eligible for a sign-on bonus up to $3,500. Up to $1,750 to be paid upon new hire and the remainder to be paid after satisfactory completion of the initial probationary period (12-month period). This does not apply to current state employees.

Required Education And Experience
Education
Possession of a bachelor's degree with not less than 21 semester (32 term) credits in one or a combination of the following: computer science, data processing, computer information systems, data communications, networking, systems analysis, computer programming, information assurance, IT project management or mathematics.
Experience
Three years of professional experience equivalent to an Information Technology Infrastructure, Programmer/Analyst or IT Project Coordinator P11 or one year equivalent to an Information Technology Infrastructure, Programmer/Analyst or IT Project Coordinator 12.
Alternate Education And Experience
Three years of experience as a computer programming supervisor or Information Technology
Supervisor may be substituted for the education and experience.
