Position Description:
- This is a critical position within the Server organization. This position will handle Enterprise Systems administration. This position will work closely with the Infrastructure Team, external areas, key customers and other IT teams as well. This position may also be responsible for managing projects.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field and three years of professional level systems administration and/or systems experience; or an equivalent combination of experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above
- Minimum 6 years of experience in supporting local and wide area networks in a medium to large technical environment.

Azure Cloud administration and configuration
Disaster Recovery
Vulnerability Patching
System Monitoring
Server System configuration, maintenance and administration
System Virtualization
Group Policy and Azure Policy administration SSL Certificate Issuance
HP Server Hardware
Azure Server Builds
- Azure Administrator certification.
Preferred Experience:
- 5+ years of experience managing and configuring server hardware
- 5+ years of experience managing Exchange Online and Microsoft O365
- Operational knowledge of Microsoft operating systems
- 5+ years of experience managing Microsoft Windows Server 2012, 2016, 2019, 2022, Exchange Server, Windows applications
- 5+ years of experience managing building, maintaining, and monitoring Windows servers
- 3+ years of experience with HP server hardware and VMWare Virtual Servers
- Knowledge and Understanding of Vulnerabilities and Remediation in the Windows Server Operating System
Responsibilities:
- Microsoft server security, critical updates and vulnerability patching
- Server hardware build and configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting
- Server virtualization conversion
- Server inventory tracking, reconciliation, and surplus management
- Active Directory administration, account, and security group management
- Exchange Server administration, mailbox, and email group management
- Azure Administration and management
- Analyzes development and implementation requirements and makes appropriate modifications to existing systems and prepares specifications based on customer requests
- Performs needs assessment and recommends or develops system improvements and prepares related documentation
- Participates in a variety of special projects related to Information Technology
- Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills as applied to interaction with coworkers, supervisors, the county departments, etc. sufficient to exchange or convey information and to receive work direction
