We are seeking a V.P. of IT/Management Systems to lead our fast-growing company of over 100 locations. This position is full-time based in our corporate office in Overland Park, Kansas.
Position Summary:
Assist in managing the organization’s technological infrastructure by determining the company’s IT needs and implementing effective computer systems that meet/exceed expectations.
Responsibilities
- Help define IT infrastructure strategy, architecture and processes
- Establish an efficient framework of repeatable, scalable processes for a centralized IT organization servicing multiple business units
- Identify opportunities for streamlining workflows
- Enhance overall operations through technological design and development
- Develop IT budget plans that align with both long/short -term objectives
- Lead risk management and cybersecurity programs
- Oversee compliance management processes and security technical operations
- Provide technical leadership and guidance on software tools and technology
- Collaborate to develop technology strategies and implementation plans with management/stakeholders
- Advise senior management on strategic systems and platform conversions
- Handle integration decisions in support of business goals and objectives
- Develop the deployment of new IT systems and services
- Monitor performance of information technology systems to determine cost and productivity levels
- Assess vendors of new hardware and software solutions
Requirements
- Strong leadership and knowledge in IT systems
- Experience managing large IT projects
- Skilled in IT infrastructures across various technologies
- Possess in-depth enterprise-wide software conversions experience
- Excel in
- Understanding of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, databases and data storage systems and phone systems
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Excellent project management skills/strong ability to prioritize
- Firm grasp on IT infrastructure and operations best practices
Education and Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, information systems or related field
- Master’s degree in computer science, IT or business administration is preferred
- Experience: Three (3) to five (5) years’ experience in senior information technology role and ERP conversions
