Position Overview
We are seeking a talented and experienced Data Security Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of data security principles and hands-on experience with Protegrity solutions. You will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and managing data protection measures to safeguard our clients' most valuable assets.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess data security requirements and develop comprehensive protection strategies.
- Design and implement data security solutions using Protegrity technology to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of sensitive data.
- Configure and manage Protegrity components, including encryption, tokenization, masking, and access controls, to meet business and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct risk assessments and security audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend remediation measures.
- Monitor and analyze security events and incidents, and respond promptly to mitigate potential threats or breaches.
- Develop and maintain documentation, policies, and procedures related to data security best practices and compliance standards.
- Provide technical guidance and support to internal teams and clients on data security-related matters.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Experience: Years of experience in data security engineering, with a focus on implementing Protegrity solutions.
- Skills: In-depth knowledge of data security principles, encryption algorithms, and cryptographic protocols.
- Hands-on experience with Protegrity components, including Data Protector, Defiance TMS, and Protegrity Vaultless Tokenization.
- Strong understanding of regulatory compliance requirements, such as GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS, and CCPA.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex security issues and propose effective solutions.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Relevant certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), or Protegrity Certified Professional (PCP) are a plus.
