Our client is an exciting and fast-moving consumer and commercial services business. They've recently partnered with a highly successful PE group and are now in search of a dynamic CEO to lead the business through this next phase of growth!
This is a fantastic opportunity for an energetic and operations-focused Executive to work alongside a strong leadership team and supportive sponsor to meaningfully scale the business.
The CEO will manage all strategic and day-to-day aspects of the company with an emphasis on operations, customer retention and satisfaction, and profitability. In addition, the CEO will drive key initiatives at the direction of the sponsor with an emphasis on an aggressive M&A plan.
The CEO will serve as a vital contributor to the development and execution of the overall business strategy, and the achievement of financial and operational performance. As such, the role requires a strong strategic perspective, operational leadership, business decision-making, and organizational development capabilities.
S/He will be expected to provide strong leadership and motivate the company’s entire employee base. We are looking for a culture creator with a customer-centric approach!
To be considered for this role we are looking for the following:
Experience: Minimum of 20 years of professional experience; the ideal candidate has been the CEO, COO, or another senior-level executive of a company with proven experience leading a "field" type workforce.
Private Equity: Previous experience working with a private equity group is preferred, but we will consider a talented executive who has a proven track record of achievement in a fast-paced environment.
P&L Management: The ideal candidate will have had previous responsibility running a full P&L – either for a region of a larger business or for a business similar in size ~ $200M. We are looking for candidates who have demonstrated the ability to manage up and down an organization.
Operational Mindset: Must have an intellectual curiosity about the business and a focus on supporting high growth while maintaining profitability goals; must understand the need to wear several hats during periods of dynamic growth; ability to identify most relevant KPIs and actively monitor/manage the business in line with achievable goals; experience executing and integrating acquisitions is highly preferred.
