Are you passionate about helping businesses leverage technology to achieve their goals? Our client is looking for a Head of Sales to play a key role in driving our mission of providing innovative IT managed services to businesses in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area.
As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, reporting to the CEO, this is a new and crucial role requiring a proactive leader to drive significant growth in new business acquisitions for the client’s managed IT services. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a proven track record of success in leading and motivating sales teams in the IT managed services industry.
Responsibilities
- Lead the sales function in developing and executing a comprehensive sales strategy that aligns with the company's objectives, focusing on aggressive growth in the first 12 months.
- Forge and maintain C-level executive relationships and manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing.
- Recruit, build, and lead a high-performing sales team, ensuring effective training and development.
- Provide strategic sales leadership and insight to the executive team, influencing the broader company strategy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery and client satisfaction.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in sales leadership within the IT managed services industry.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful sales strategies and achieving ambitious sales targets.
- Strong ability to establish, grow, and leverage relationships with key corporate decision-makers.
- Self-sufficient, results-oriented, and able to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Strategic thinker with exceptional communication skills and a hands-on approach to business development.
- Demonstrated understanding in technology disciplines including, but not limited to cybersecurity, data transformation, application development, infrastructure, and digital transformation.
Desirable Skills
- Self-motivation with a track record of independent achievements.
- Previous business ownership or key stakeholder experience in a sales-focused organization.
- Strong familiarity with staffing sales and executive sales strategies.
