About the role
This position will play a vital role in establishing processes that will monitor and ensure accuracy for the daily inventory, system operations, and compliance of our Lancaster, PA based Pharmacy. In this role, the individual will be required to have excellent communication and planning skills to develop daily work plans while ensuring inventory levels are achieved for all our Pharmacies. Will coordinate with the Pharmacists and Operations to maximise productivity which will achieve excellent customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- In collaboration with the Pharmacy Production Manager, develop & implement daily workflow plans
- Ensure efficient daily pharmacy output is in line with SLAs, while also maintaining regulatory compliance
- Record and report on relevant pharmacy metrics and KPIs (daily and hourly)
- Collaborate with Pharmacist in Charge to ensure all efficiency improvements remain compliant with pharmacy regulations
- Performs and assesses any applicable audits
- Assist with new product implementation and training
- Collaborate with Procurement for the ordering of relevant pharmacy inventory levels for all pharmacies
- Manage, monitor, and report on all inventory levels across all Pharmacies
- Assist with SOX compliance activities
- Assist IT team with maintaining and troubleshooting pharmacy management system
- Assist with new product implementation and training
- Perform investigations on suspect inventory according to the requirements of the Drug Supply Chain Security Act
- Ensure relevant SOPs are followed by all staff and collaborate with Pharmacist in Charge when SOPs need to be updated
- Performs duties of Pharmacy Production Manager in their absence
- Requires coordination and interaction with key vendors that impact the Pharmacies
- Operates an environment that promotes a safe working condition for all employees
Requirements
- 3-5 years' experience in an Operations environment required.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with multiple departments required.
- Must possess strong abilities to work in and demonstrate changes in a fast-paced environment.
- Willing to collaborate with the entire team to achieve maximum business results.
