Job Summary
We are seeking an Information Security Analyst with a Department of Defense (DoD) Top Secret (TS) clearance to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our organization's information systems and data.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Active Department of Defense (DoD) Top Secret (TS) clearance.
- Solid understanding of information security principles and best practices.
- Experience with security frameworks such as NIST, CIS Controls, or ISO 27001.
- Knowledge of network security, encryption, and authentication protocols.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and risks in the organization's systems.
- Implement and maintain security measures to protect the organization's computer networks and systems.
- Monitor security incidents and provide incident response when necessary.
- Develop and maintain security policies and procedures.
- Stay current on information security trends and threats.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure security requirements are met during system upgrades or changes.
- Conduct security awareness training for employees to educate them on security best practices and policies.
Additional Requirements
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure.
- Certification such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent is a plus.
- Experience working in government or defense contracting environments is preferred.
