- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Networking, covering LAN, WAN, VMware, Cisco switches, routers, VLANS, creation of virtual networks, Cisco IOS, IP addressing, subnets, network protocols, and design.
- Proficiency in Hardware with knowledge of major vendors like Cisco, Ubiquity, and UPS configuration.
- Familiarity with Cloud Computing platforms such as Azure, Google, or AWS.
- Proven expertise in Network Automation.
- In-depth knowledge of Network Security including hardware and software firewalls, Cisco Firepower, and secure firewall configuration.
- Experience in Network Scripting with proficiency in batch jobs, Microsoft scheduling tool, PERL, and PYTHON (desirable).
- Strong background in Network Troubleshooting and Analysis using common tools like NetMON, Traceroute, and basic scripting.
- Master of Science in Information Systems Management or related field.
- Preferred certifications include Cisco CCNA and CCNP.
- Other certifications such as Net+, CISA, Microsoft Administrator, VMWare, and Azure are also beneficial.
