What We Need…
The Data Center Operations Manager has overall responsibility for scheduling and oversee all activities pertaining to the day-to-day support of the data center. They are responsible for managing and communicating all activities with the TechOps teams and facilities that affect our data center infrastructure.

What You’ll Do…
- Maintain data centers facilities - UPS, backup generator power, fire prevention systems, building power, and HVAC units.
- Provide updates, issues to reporting manager.
- Troubleshoot facility failures within the data center and report to applicable vendor(s).
- Manage power upgrades for adding server hardware and update RPP circuit panel accordingly.
- Montior stability of power and coolant using Environet monitoring tools.
- Provide cost and project proposals from vendors to manager.
- Establish physical operational support procedures for all systems.
- Quarterly training and or refresher course on Generator procedures to Operations and Facility teams.
- Provide 24/7 support.
- Create metrics and monitoring to the TechOps teams.
- Maintain Historical Hardware metrics for the next 15 years.
- Establish professional relationships with COCC teams and vendors.
What You’ll Bring…
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred for this role but will consider appropriate work experience and/or relevant certifications.
- 5+ years of Data Center Management Experience in a large scale 24/7 data center environment
- 2+ years of working with vendors relevant to data center operation
- Experience with Windows Server, Enterprise Storage, and Networking equipment
- Experience with building monitoring software (i.e. Vertiv)
- Experience with Liebert DS HVAC units, Liebert EXM UPS’s, and Libert RX Power Distribution Cabinets is a plus.
