About the Company
Our company is a stealth-mode fintech startup on a mission to provide innovative financial solutions to Millennials and Gen-Z in developed markets. Leveraging AI and deep learning, we aim to transform the digital private banking experience for mass-affluent next-gen and unlock new growth potential through our comprehensive and personalized financial services platform. Our entry market will be Europe but we have a vision to build a global platform.
The founding team are two former senior investment bankers (CS, GS, JEF) turned start-up entrepreneurs. The founders are supported by an exceptional advisory board including a former wealth management CEO, COO of a US fintech unicorn, and a regional CTO of global Wall Street investment bank.
The Opportunity
We seek a visionary Technical Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to spearhead the development of our technological vision and drive the company’s future growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development of our technology strategy and ensure alignment with our business goals.
- Serve as the face of our technological platform, articulating the company’s technical vision to partners and investors.
- Evaluate and identify appropriate technology platforms for delivering the company’s services.
- Direct strategic decision-making related to technology investments and partnerships.
- Develop and oversee the technology budget and timelines.
- Maintain cutting-edge knowledge of fintech trends, technologies, and best practices.
- Direct the technology infrastructure, ensuring scalability and security.
- Establish and enforce technology standards, protocols, and procedures.
- Track technology performance metrics and develop plans to improve them.
- Oversee changes in system architecture and software development practices.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven leadership experience in a technology-related role, preferably in fintech.
- Strong background in software development and system architecture.
- An entrepreneurial mindset with outstanding organizational and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- A passion for staying on top of tech trends and developing new technologies.
- Prior startup experience is highly desirable, particularly in an early-stage environment.
Compensation
This is an equity-only position at the outset until the fundraising round is completed (expected H1 2024). As a CTO and a vital part of the startup, you will receive a substantial equity stake in the company. We believe in rewarding our team members for their contributions to our success, and as we grow, there will be opportunities to revisit and expand the compensation package.
