Job Description
Driver Search and Matching is central to the Spark Driver platform, which offers last-mile delivery as a service to Walmart and its GoLocal clients via independent contractors. The person in this role will have significant impact on the speed and on-time delivery rates along with cost-efficiency and driver earnings per engaged hour.

What you'll do:
Define shared vision, strategy and roadmap in close partnership with Business, Operations, Engineering, and Data Science teams. Conduct industry and competitive analysis to understand the emerging trends in this industry to identify new opportunities. Write product requirements documents and review experiment design docs to launch, learn and iterate towards the desired outcome. Understand data pipelines, event driven systems and ML algorithms/workflows. Identify gaps and propose novel solutions to bridge those gaps effectively. Building collaborative relationships with key partners by driving priorities aligned to business goals, communicating and prioritizing product roadmaps, and gaining alignment from executive leadership.
What you'll bring:
Operations research/ML background or strong experience in building ML/AI based products. Testand learn mentality and an agile way of working to improve your team's products Proven ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization through strong communication, relationship management, and story telling rooted in data and logic. Ability to dive deep into complex technical concepts, and abstract them to executives, stakeholders, operations, and legal. Tenacity to make things happen around you in an organized and structured way while managing ambiguity and interdependencies.
