SUMMARY
The Revenue Cycle Manager supports the overall mission of The Warren Center by overseeing the development, implementation, management and reporting of the revenue cycle management function.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Provides leadership and administrative direction to the revenue cycle function
- Reviews and ensures standardized billing department policies and procedures are maintained and that operations comply with SOP’s to maximum collections and maintain regulatory compliance, acting as a liaison among Accounting, Billing, Operations and Clinical staff
- Review, analyzes and interprets financial data to monitor progress toward established goals, identifies deterrents to success and implements improvements as necessary to enhance efficiencies and results
- Develop and implement internal employee and business metrics in order to refine processes and improve efficiencies
- Liaison with ProviderSoft medical billing system and third–party vendor to solve database issues as they arise
- Oversee communication with operations team to ensure efficient processes are understood and implemented in accordance with policies and procedures, and denial reports are provided, and root causes are resolved
- Responsible for accurate and timely billing, data e for accurate and timely billing, data entry, charge corrections, adjustments and Denial management
- Oversees the management of the EDI functions as they relate to electronic claims submission, denial management, and related systems for scope of business
- Review reimbursement levels to determine when changes take place and keep abreast of changes in the industry that will impact charging patterns and reimbursement levels
- Responsible for the organizational structure required to maximize results and control costs
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards and directives from regulatory agencies and third-party payors including enrollment, contracting and credentialing of providers.
- Maintain appropriate internal control safeguards over financial records and collection of cash
- Monitor aged accounts and verify appropriate collections procedures are being followed
- Regularly provide upper management with revenue cycle status including reports, metrics and presentations
- Contracting and credentialing
- Resolve escalated reimbursement issues with third–party payors and systems for optimal management of accounts receivable
- Responsible for understanding and following all rules in the reimbursement guide as identified by HHSC and the division for early childhood intervention services
- Perform other duties as assigned
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Education
- Required: Bachelor’s degree in business or systems management, or equivalent experience with medical billing
Experience
- Required: Minimum five (5) years working with revenue cycle management
- Preferred: Management of data systems, business processes, and supervision of data end users
