Role Description
New York City Fashion based Apparel & Accessories company seeking a Vice President of Product Development for multiple accessories divisions within our company. As the Vice President of Product Development, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the product development strategy of our company. You will be responsible for leading and managing a team of product developers, designers, and technicians to create innovative and commercially viable fashion products that resonate with our target audience. Your role will involve collaboration with various departments, including design, merchandising, sourcing, and manufacturing, to ensure that our product offerings meet quality standards, market demands, and profitability goals.
Qualifications
- Analytical Skills, including data analysis and market research
- Product Management and Project Management experience
- Strong Strategic Planning skills
- Experience in Product Development, including conceptualization, design, and production
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- 8+ years experience in the apparel and accessories industry is a must.
