We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated IT Manager to oversee and guide all aspects of our school's information technology systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for supporting an educational environment that nurtures both academic excellence and Christian values.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and support the school's IT infrastructure, including servers, workstations, printers, and other peripheral devices.
- Ensure the security and integrity of all IT systems, implementing and maintaining robust cybersecurity measures.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for faculty, staff, and students, addressing any IT-related issues promptly and efficiently.
- Develop and implement IT policies and procedures that align with the school's mission and values.
- Coordinate and manage IT projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budgetary constraints.
- Maintain an inventory of all IT assets and ensure proper documentation of all IT-related activities.
- Stay current with technological advancements and recommend upgrades and improvements to enhance the school's IT capabilities.
- Work with the Director of IT on any installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware, software, and network systems.
Qualifications:
-At least 3-5 years of IT experience is required. While a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred, it is not mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of network administration, cybersecurity, and IT infrastructure.
- Proficiency in managing Windows and Mac OS environments.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with faculty, staff, and students.
- Commitment to the school's Christian mission and values.
- Experience with educational technology and learning management systems is a plus.
