Job Title: Software Engineer (Java)
Job Duration: 12 Month contract with potential extension.
Job Location: Richardson, TX, 75082
Note: US Citizen required for this position.
Job Description
- Opportunity to use your understanding of software principles, theories, and concepts related to software engineering (including software development lifecycle and software development process),design patterns, and Object Oriented architecture.
- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code
- Demonstrate your critical thinking skills with the ability to communicate concepts and ideas well.
- Have a direct impact on critical operational capability.
- The ability to obtain and maintain SCI program access and complete polygraphs.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and 2 years of experience.
- Experience in Java.
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued Top Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Experience with Agile and/or DevSecOps toolsets (e.g. Jira, Confluence, BitBucket, Jenkins, Cucumber, etc.).
- Experience developing and utilizing application programming interfaces (API).
- Experience with AWS
- Experience with RDBMS databases such as Postgres .
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
