We are 90% of the way towards our MVP but our CTO has had to leave the company to deal with family health issues, so we need someone who has experience taking technologies from 0 to 1. We want someone who knows what it takes to work in and build disruptive startups. Our goal is to change the game, we want someone who is passionate about disruption, innovation, and helping others.
This can either be part time or full time depending on your bandwidth. You will receive equity in the company and the title “co-founder” is available to be earned for the right person.

You excel in a fast-paced environment. You do your best work while riding the Giant Inverted Boomerang at Six Flags with your pants literally on fire. If your Six Flags doesn’t have WiFi, you Wi(ll)Fi(nd) a way.
If you thought your high school [girlfriend/boyfriend]’s habit of driving while talking on the phone and eating ramen was reckless, this is not the company for you.
You should be goal-oriented and able to work without supervision or mentorship. You thrive in a cross-functional setting. That setting is also—you guessed it—fast-paced. You should not be the kind of person who suggests that maybe “oriented” isn’t the word we were looking for or even a word at all, or that “cross-functional” is a garbage business neologism for “sends emails and doesn’t run away screaming when she has to talk to Bill from Marketing.”
Key Responsibilities
- Design and configure infrastructure
- Ensure scalability of the application
- Ensure scalability of the infrastructure
- Explore new technologies and decide whether to implement them
- Make architecture decisions to ensure a strong, stable, and scalable product
- Build out our tech stack and engineering hiring plan
- Work with the engineering team to increase their expertise and understanding of best development practices
Requirements
- Previous working experience as a CTO or in an early-stage SaaS company
- Experience working in an early-stage successful tech start-up
- Strong product sense and ability to build engaging tech for customers
- Ability to conduct technological analyses and research
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to share/collaborate with peers
- Good knowledge of data analysis and KPIs
- Previous experience with Big Data is a plus
- Proficiency with JavaScript, Ruby, AWS/Azure/GCP
