Position: Network Engineer (Level 2)
Contract from 12/2/2024 – 9/30/2025 with possibility to extend
Location: Downtown Fort Worth
2 days onsite, 3 days remote
Job Description:
-Managing and documenting firewall and load-balancer architecture and configuration.
-Designing, deploying, and troubleshooting enterprise firewalls and load-balancers with proven experience in troubleshooting isolation and remediation.
-Working with firewalls and load-balancers to optimize deployment and configuration of equipment.
-Configuring load-balancers and firewalls to support new applications that require F5 virtual servers/pools/monitoring and firewall NAT/security policies
-Troubleshooting firewalls and load-balancers using packet analysis, managing support cases with external technology vendors, and performing real-time log analysis.
Qualifications:
REQUIRED: Four (4) years of hands-on experience configuring and supporting enterprise Palo Alto Firewalls, F5 BIG-IP Load-Balancers, and Cisco switch technologies. PREFERRED: Advanced routing protocols regarding OSPF, BGP, IPsec, and VPN technologies.
