Position Overview: Are you a tech visionary with a knack for innovation? We're searching for a dynamic Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead our tech team and drive the development of our groundbreaking platform. Responsibilities:
Technical Leadership:
- Craft and execute the technical vision and strategy, ensuring alignment with our business objectives.
- Lead, inspire, and mentor a team of talented engineers, fostering a culture of creativity and collaboration.
- Architect, design, and develop scalable, secure backend systems.
Backend Development:
- Design and build backend software for binary prediction markets (yes/no bets).
- Develop and maintain a robust infrastructure to support user-generated predictions.
- Ensure secure and efficient transaction processing and data integration.
AI and Algorithms:
- Collaborate with data scientists to train and refine AI models that enhance user experience.
- Implement and optimize algorithms for personalized insights and recommendations.
Strategic Partnerships:
- Engage with financial institutions, clearinghouses, and other partners to integrate their services.
- Lead technical discussions and negotiations with potential partners and stakeholders.
Product Development:
- Work closely with the product team to define technical requirements and deliver high-quality features.
- Oversee the entire product lifecycle from concept to launch, ensuring technical feasibility and optimal user experience.
Operational Excellence:
- Implement best practices for software development, including code reviews, testing, and deployment automation.
- Monitor system performance and reliability, proactively addressing issues to ensure high availability.
Requirements:
Experience:
- Proven experience as a CTO, Senior Software Engineer, or similar leadership role in a tech-driven company.
- Extensive experience in backend development with a strong focus on scalable, secure systems.
- Demonstrated expertise in building financial or trading platforms, working with AI technologies, and developing feed algorithms.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Node.js.
- Strong knowledge of database systems (SQL and NoSQL) and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Experience with AI and machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) and their integration into software platforms.
Leadership and Communication:
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a technical team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Education:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
