We are partnered with a New York-based manufacturing company that are hiring an IT Manager as they look to bring all IT services in-house. The successful IT Manager must be comfortable being technically hands-on, as well as pushing IT standards, procedures, policies, and best practices amongst a growing team.
What experience are we looking for?
- 5+ years experience in IT client/end-user support and IT Infrastructure.
- 2+ years of management experience is preferred, although not essential.
- Experience with Windows Server Operating Systems (2019/2022), Active Directory, Microsoft SQL, Microsoft 365.
- Experience with VMWare.
- Networking experience.
Job Responsibilities
- Managing IT Support team, including recruitment, supervision and scheduling.
- Overseeing IT Service Desk system for tracking incidents, assets, and knowledge base
- Maintain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) of IT Service Desk
- Providing support in all areas of provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of IT client systems hardware and software and related infrastructure
- Maintaining up-to-date documentation of the networking infrastructure
- In addition to solving day-to-day issues, this individual will be responsible for understanding why they occur and providing long-term solutions to prevent them from happening again.
- Serving as a technical lead on company projects.
- Ensuring adherence to industry standard IT practices and providing support for both internal and external compliance audits
This role is fully on-site and pays up to $130,000 in addition to benefits.
