Job Title: Microsoft Teams Administrator
Work Location: Irvine, CA/ San Diego, CA/Irving, TX
Duration: 6+ months
Work Hours: 9am-6pm
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and skilled MS Teams Administrator to join our IT team. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and optimal performance of our Teams devices and services, as well as providing technical assistance and guidance to our users and staff. You will also be in charge of administering Teams settings and policies and implementing best practices and security measures for our Teams environment. SharePoint and OneDrive knowledge is also helpful and Exchange Online knowledge is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Manage and support Teams Rooms, Teams Phones and Teams issues across the organization.
- Monitor and troubleshoot Teams devices and services and resolve any technical problems or incidents.
- Administer Teams settings and policies, and ensure compliance with security and privacy standards
- Provide training and documentation for Teams users and staff and assist them with any questions or issues.
- Coordinate with other IT teams and vendors to ensure the integration and compatibility of Teams with other systems and applications.
- Keep abreast of the latest developments and trends in Teams and related technologies and recommend improvements and enhancements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- At least 3 years of experience as an MS Teams Administrator or similar role.
- Strong knowledge and skills in Teams devices and services, including Teams Rooms, Teams Phones, Teams Live Events, Teams Voice, and Teams Meeting.
- Proficient in Teams administration and management, including Teams settings, policies, governance, security, and compliance.
- Experience in SharePoint and OneDrive administration and management, and familiarity with Exchange Online.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work effectively with users and staff of different levels and backgrounds.
- Problem-solving and analytical skills, and ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Certification in MS Teams or related technologies is a plus.
