Description
We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Director of Risk Management in the Insurance industry. Located in Grapevine, Texas, the role involves identifying and mitigating financial and operational risk, and providing comprehensive visibility into all lines of business. The successful candidate will spearhead a proactive risk management program and serve as a liaison to insurance carriers.
Responsibilities
- Lead a proactive risk management program for all products at the program, agent, and dealer levels.
- Monitor underwriting experience at the dealer, agent, and program level.
- Prepare and deliver management reports on underperforming dealers, agents, and programs, including developing remedial loss control actions as needed.
- Develop presentations on effective risk management techniques for agents.
- Foster and maintain successful relationships with insurance carriers.
- Stay updated on insurance carrier practices and procedures related to product, dealer, and agent requirements.
- Prepare presentations and reports for management and carriers as required.
- Enhance existing products to remain competitive and develop new products.
- Develop and implement streamlined processes and procedures for risk reporting and tracking.
- Report business performance and projections to the executive team and key stakeholders.
- Adapt to changing responsibilities to accommodate company growth.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role
- Proficiency in Risk Management is essential
- Experience in the Automotive Industry is a strong advantage
- Knowledge or experience in insurance/reinsurance is required
- Must have experience in Operational Risk Management
- Strong skills in Financial Risk are crucial
