About the Position:
As an Applications Administrator you will oversee the Bank’s business applications and related infrastructure, placing an emphasis on information security and system availability. Your primary responsibility is the support, maintenance and monitoring of information technology systems and applications. You will be required to interact with all levels of the organization. You will also work on call for after-hours support in defined situations and act as a backup for the System Administrators.
What You Will Do:
- Installs, configures, maintains, and supports applications used to support the Bank’s processes.
- Reviews Bank applications and identifies existing as well as potential issues, researches and recommends solutions
- Manages application patching
- Integrates Bank applications, internally and externally
- Administers user rights and in Bank applications
- Implements, maintains, and supports workflow automation with the Bank’s applications
- Recommends and leads application upgrades and/or replacement as necessary
- Documents procedures for the applications and processes
- Performs and reports on software audits
- Remains knowledgeable about security threats and identifies potential vulnerabilities to management, determines and communicates workarounds to employees when necessary
- Provides IT support to Bank employees, contractors, and customers
- Reports potential and real issues regardless of nature to management
- Analyzes stated department needs to determine the most appropriate solution
- Recommends and implements improvements to business processes/systems that support business objectives
- Participates in business continuity and disaster recovery planning and testing
- Implement, monitor, and resolves errors when necessary for applications such as EOD/EOM/EOY processing
- Performs other duties as required
What We’re Looking For:
- A minimum of three years of relevant IT experience
- A Bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field, or equivalent experience is required
- Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems, Active Directory, Office applications, SQL Server, and IIS
- Knowledge of data security and disaster recovery concepts and procedures
- Experience in planning, implementing, testing, and troubleshooting applications
- Experience integrating services and applications, preferably with Fintech
- Experience with SQL queries. APIs, and/or collaboration applications desired but not required
- Interpersonal skills to interact positively and effectively with team members and all levels of business users and management
- Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people
- A high degree of initiative
- Capability of working under limited supervision
- Ability to follow through with problem resolution quickly and communicate status throughout resolution cycle
- Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Ability to think through problems and explore solutions

- Available to be on-call during off hours
Working Conditions/Demands:
- Professional office setting.
- Primarily sedentary position requiring long periods of time working at a computer.
- Must be able to move throughout the office and buildings to obtain or relay information.
