The Systems Administrator shall implement, troubleshoot and maintain Information Technology (IT) systems. The Systems Administrator will:
- Configure, install, manage and troubleshoot UNIX and Windows operating systems and GOTS/COTS software
- At least 5 years troubleshooting software installations and operations.
- Support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client/server/storage/network devices
- Optimizes system operations and resource utilization, and performs system capacity analysis
- Understanding of computer networks with ability to identify, troubleshoot, and document network connectivity and performance issues.
- Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution of problems
- At least 5 years analyzing and correcting data flow issues within systems.
- Experience in understanding network diagrams and schematics to troubleshoot dataflow and computer system related issues.
- Working knowledge of enterprise dataflow and Nifi is helpful.
- Willing to perform 24/7 shift work. At this time, multiple shift schedules can be determined to provide 24/7 desk coverage.
Position requires an active TS/SCI with polygraph level clearance. US citizenship is required.
Qualifications:
- Five (5) years experience as a SA working on programs of similar scope, type and complexity is required. Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited university is required. Five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
- CWIP Certification (IAT Level 1) is required. (Security+, etc)
