BSA & Security Analyst
The BSA & Security Analyst provides a full range of support relating to BSA/AML/OFAC and Security. This position leads the Bank's BSA/AML/OFAC programs, investigates alerts, manages SAR filings and leads all Bank security incident investigations including physical security, fraud and loss mitigation. This role is also responsible for developing statistical reports to supplement BSA/AML/OFAC and security reviews.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years related experience, a knowledge of consumer banking laws, security procedures and BSA/AML/OFAC/USA Patriot Act. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite as well as strong communication, organizational, research and analytical skills are also required.
This position is primarily an on-site position located at our corporate office in Solvay, NY.

SUMMARY:
Provide a full range of support relating to BSA/AML/OFAC and Security
OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Leads the Bank's BSA/AML/OFAC programs through monitoring and analyzing data and ensuring the completion of various reports of transactional activities.
- Investigates AML alerts from systems and either clears alerts with proper supporting documentation or escalates for SAR filing.
- Leads all bank security incident investigations including, but not limited to security, fraud, loss mitigation.
- Coordinates physical security of all buildings including, but not limited to access management, maintenance of cameras/DVRs, and security monitoring companies.
- Perform duties such as investigating multiple frauds in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Develops statistical reports to supplement BSA/AML/OFAC and security reviews.
- Trains employees on robbery and fire procedures as necessary.
NECESSARY SKILLS:
- Knowledge of consumer banking laws, security procedures, in addition to BSA/AML/OFAC/USA Patriot Act.
- Ability to investigate and report on cases; including the ability to lead teams.
- Ability to deal effectively with all types of people and situations.
- Knowledge and understanding of and bank products.
- Ability to work independently and within guidelines and practices, while at the same time being a team player.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite that includes Word, Excel and Power Point.
- Knowledge of Verafin a plus
- Must be detail oriented and demonstrate strong organizational, research, analytical and communications skills.
- Strong oral and written communication skills
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- At least two years in banking preferred.
- Knowledge of consumer banking laws and regulations is a plus.
- Associates degree or equivalent 2 years appropriate related experience.
