Job Summary:
The Sales Director for Cybersecurity Services is responsible for driving sales and revenue growth for our cybersecurity solutions as an individual contributor. This role requires a deep understanding of the cybersecurity landscape, a proven track record in sales, and the ability to build strong relationships with clients and partners. A significant part of this role involves hunting for new business opportunities and acquiring new clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy and Execution:
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue targets and expand market presence in the cybersecurity sector.
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities, markets, and customer segments through aggressive hunting efforts.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create effective sales campaigns and lead generation activities.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and delivering tailored cybersecurity solutions.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for major accounts, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Develop long-term partnerships with clients to drive repeat business and referrals.
Market Analysis and Insights:
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging threats in the cybersecurity space.
- Provide insights and feedback to the product development team to enhance the company's offerings.
- Utilize market intelligence to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation.
Sales Operations and Reporting:
- Manage the sales pipeline, forecast revenue, and track key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Prepare and present regular sales reports to the executive team, highlighting achievements, challenges, and action plans.
- Ensure the use of CRM systems and other sales tools to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in sales roles, with a focus on cybersecurity services or related technology solutions.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving significant revenue growth, with a strong emphasis on hunting for new business.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity technologies, trends, and best practices.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with C-level executives and other key stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with CRM software and sales analytics tools.
Preferred Skills:
- Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or similar.
- Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic sales environment.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards related to cybersecurity.
