Our programs support multiple Federal agencies, including the Department of Defense. We are seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to support our customer’s operations in Dahlgren, Virginia. This effort provides our Government customer with software support services. This position will be on-site and will require an active Secret Clearance.
Responsibilities:
- Support the development and maintenance of Continuous Integration (CI) / Continuous Delivery (CD) pipelines by implementing the automation of DevSecOps workflows for Secure Software Delivery, generating sufficient Objective Qualified Evidence (OQE) to support system certification efforts through:
- Automated Code Quality Analysis
- Automated Code Compilation
- Automated Code Test
- Automated Binary Analysis (Static & Dynamic)
- Automated Package Generation
- Automated Package Verification
- Automated Package Staging
- Automated Package Deployment
Essential Requirements:
- US Citizenship
- Active Secret Clearance
Required Experience:
- Minimum four (4) years since award of Bachelor’s degree, or Minimum two (2) years since award of Master’s degree
- Minimum of four (4) years of experience performing software design, code, and testing
- Experience performing detailed and complex software design and development meeting sub millisecond timing requirements
- Experience working in specific environments: Jenkins, Docker, Java, Python, Ruby, Perl, Scripting YAML, SAST (Static Application Security Testing), DAST (Dynamic Application Security Testing)
- Experience creating and maintain software pipelines
Education and Certifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree from a school of engineering with at least one curriculum accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) as a professional engineering curriculum in one of the following fields: Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineer, Electronics Engineering, or Software Engineering
OR
- A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in one of the following fields of study: Mathematics or Computer Science
- Per DoD Directive 8570.01-M or successor, this position requires Information Assurance technical (IAT) Level 2. (DoD 8570.01-M is being phased out in favor of DoD 8140. As a result, certification requirements may change during the contract Period of Performance
- Eligible for IT Level-II designation under DoD Directive 8570.01M or its successor
