We’re looking for a
Group IT Director to oversee the IT vision, strategy and leadership for all Moog Military Aircraft business sites.
You will report to the General Manager of the Business Management Office and will have an onsite work schedule in East Aurora, NY.
To be considered for Group IT Director role, here’s what you’ll need to bring with you:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related field; MBA preferred
- Ten years of professional IT experience; preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Five plus years leading teams and being involved in strategic decision making
- Demonstrated success in identifying and capturing value from advanced analytics, artificial intelligence, digital manufacturing, and/or other significant technology trends
- Strong leadership skills and ability to influence others
As the Group IT Director, you will:
- Provide IT vision, strategy and leadership for all Military Aircraft Group businesses and sites.
- Serve as liaison between Military Aircraft Group and Corporate IT to ensure successful service delivery execution and end user experience of enterprise IT services.
- Ensure smooth execution of all corporate transformational initiatives (e.g. SAP, PLM, etc.)
- Partner with Group, Division and Functional leadership on understanding business strategies and needs and building IT solutions and roadmaps to support those.
- Mature the IT organization so that it is a key enabler of the business which includes both innovative solutions and initiatives that maximize operational efficiencies and drive business value.
- Spearhead business intelligence initiatives to drive better decision making.
- Manage, lead and develop the Military Aircraft Group IT team.
This position requires access to United States Export Controlled information.
Pay Disclaimer:
The base pay range for this opportunity is $190,000 - $230,000 per year.
The base pay range represents the low and high end of the Moog pay range or indicates the hourly rate for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on many factors such as skills, experience, certifications and performance. The rate listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees.
