The Role
This System Engineer role is to contribute to Everseen’s customer facing Technical Team whose mission is to enhance customer satisfaction through efficient deployment, support, and enhanced client’s understanding of our AI products.

What You'll Do
- You will resolve standard customer issues independently and follow standard operating procedures and best practices.
- You will triage customer-facing requests and set up follow-up actions and timelines.
- You will be assigned to various projects and customer engagements to manage the delivery and deployment of the service/product
- Execute routine configuration changes and contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing, including SharePoint articles.
- You will develop the ability to install and configure the Everseen stack system and maintain in-depth knowledge of Everseen’s products and technical specifications.
- Ensure optimal service and product performance using monitoring tools like Grafana (Thanos).
- Provide comprehensive reports on system performance, incidents, and maintenance activities.
- You will participate in technical calls, addressing issues promptly and work with customers to identify and close solution gaps.
- Troubleshoot and resolve customer challenges and ensure best-in-class support and deployment services.
- Understand the customers' requirements and complete system changes to meet these requirements.
- Handle emergency customer calls promptly and professionally.

Collaborating with
- Everseen’s Program Management Team, Product team, R&D team, the wider Engineering Team and employees
Profile And Skills
- You have 2 - 3 years experience in a similar role working with projects in a global matrixed organisation.
- A relevant technical degree qualification is preferred
- You have extensive experience with Linux systems; proficient in Docker and/or Podman.
- Strong scripting abilities in Bash
- You have knowledge of standard network communication protocols such as TCP, UDP, HTTP, WS, FTP.
- You have a basic understanding of networking concepts including VPNs, subnets, DNS configurations, SSL certificates, etc.
- You are familiar with automation tools, especially Ansible experience, preferred.
- Knowledge of ELK Stack; REST, NGINX, JSON, XML; Message brokers (e.g. MQTT, RabbitMQ, Redis); TypeScript, Python, Javascript; RTSP feeds; Kubernetes and Ansible, Terraform, OpenShift
- You have a fast learning ability to quickly grasp Everseen products and their interdependencies.
- Demonstrates initiative, drive, and self-motivation in taking full ownership of projects, ensuring accountability for project outcomes, and fostering a no-blame culture conducive to continuous improvement.
- Strong capability to troubleshoot complex issues across system resources and application stack traces.
- You will collaborate cross-functionally to deliver projects within agreed scope and timelines, engaging with internal teams such as product development, implementation, and customer support
- There will be an expectation of up to 50% travel with this role to meet with customers.
