Role purpose
As the VP, Partnerships, USA at IDP, you’ll lead our growth strategy and drive success in the US higher education market. You'll leverage your expertise in strategic enrolment management and your extensive network to negotiate major partnerships and craft long-term strategies.
Your role involves managing executive relationships, overseeing the sales process, and collaborating with senior leadership to enhance our brand and revenue opportunities. You’ll play a crucial role in shaping IDP’s brand presence, maximizing revenue, and driving impactful initiatives.
You'll be leading the US partnerships and client success teams to deliver against IDP's core business objectives. Reporting to and working closely with the SVP, Partnerships and Stakeholder Engagement, North America, you will play a fundamental role in the success of the growth strategy for the US destination for IDP.

Key Responsibilities
You will
- Leverage your extensive experience in strategic enrolment management and your robust network within US higher education to negotiate and secure high-impact commercial partnerships.
- Craft and implement long-term partnership strategies, developing executive relationships, and driving revenue growth.
- Lead the team in all phases of the sales process, from opportunity identification to closing deals, and provide coaching to optimize performance.
- Ensure the team are fully trained in new and existing products, with outstanding client and sector knowledge through a comprehensive and personalized learning and development programme to build capability.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to shape our commercial strategy, represent IDP at key industry events, and support client advisory panels to co-create innovative solutions.

- Significant senior-level experience in strategic enrolment management, a deep understanding of international recruitment, and a network of high-level contacts across US institutions.
- A background that includes negotiating large partnerships, developing commercial strategies, and managing executive relationships.
- Experience as a seasoned leader with a track record of scaling partnerships in higher education, demonstrating exceptional thought leadership and strategic insight.
- An ability to build and maintain a high-performance team while aligning with IDP’s values will be crucial in driving our success in the US market.
