FARO is Seeking for the IT Business Management Analyst who owns the IT procure to pay processes for all purchases in the Corporate Technology budget as well as IT temporary workers and IT SOWs. This role ensures timely request of purchases as well as accurate receipt within our Financial System. This role is responsible for overall IT monthly accruals and performing analysis to provide insight on actual to budget variance and other payment details as needed. This role holds the requestor accountable and ensures expenditures are in alignment to established policies. The IT Business Management Analyst receives, tracks, and monitors technology assets. This encompasses both hardware as well as software. The IT Business Management Analyst is the trusted advisor for our asset inventory completing audits to ensure accuracy.

- Drive execution of the IT Procure to Pay processes.
- Provide transparency to IT costs; manage cost allocation show back/chargeback principles.
- Analyze and anticipate future IT procurement needs and ensure these needs will be met.
- Accountable for timely input of purchase requisitions and receipt of services/products to enable efficient vendor payment.
- Track payments to enable monthly accrual submission to reflect when service was rendered.
- Drive execution of the asset management strategy.
- Establish and maintain processes that support upstream and downstream impacts, such as asset tagging and generating Configuration Items for CMDB.
- Perform analysis as needed for leadership understanding.
- Drive adherence to financial policies and/or vendor agreements.
- Question and research things that appear out of the norm or where an improvement can be achieved.
- Ensure data is accurate and solid to support any audits.
- Involved in software asset renewals and true ups.
- Collaborate with procurement to ensure the best approach is being considered for multi-year contracts as well as roadmap changes, which may influence the terms and or if other solutions should be evaluated.
- Ensure timely inventory documentation of disposals as a result of lost, stolen, obsolete or refresh plans.
- Provide early guidance on hardware refresh plans.
- Make appropriate improvements to internal analysis processes ensuring that practices are in line with the overall goals of the organization.
- Support quarterly review, forecast process, and annual budget process.
- Perform detailed IT vendor cost analysis to identify trends, variance, cost savings and other opportunities.
- Partner with procurement to support RFI/RFP processes as well as periodic reviews of software and hardware licenses ensuring appropriate licensing levels, re-evaluating need, and confirming cost / budget.
- Maintain the contract repository for all IT software, hardware and services agreements.
- Build and manage reporting tools to track progress and performance of IT vendors; provide regular reporting and maintain ongoing communications to IT senior management, stakeholders and executive sponsors.
- Support the development and implementation of the IT vendor strategy.
- Maintain process documentation including policy, procedures, training materials and process maps.
- Perform any other job-related instructions as requested.
