Astor & Sanders Corporation (Astor) is an award-winning IT solutions provider headquartered in McLean, VA and is seeking a
Network Engineer. This is a full-time position based
onsite in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, configure, and maintain network hardware and software components including TCP/IP setting, subnets, and routing
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Implement and maintain network security measures
- Collaborate with team members to plan and execute network expansion projects
- Provide technical support to clients regarding network issues
- Stay up-to-date with the latest networking technologies and trends
- Additional duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a Network Engineer
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols and technologies
- Experience with network monitoring and diagnostic tools
- Solid understanding of network security principles
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- At least one professional certification (e.g., CCNA, CCNP) is required
